Rainy Day Saturday

The picture I posted today is a picture of the Buckman Bridge. The Buckman Bridge carries I-295 over the St. John's River. It is named for Henry Holland Buckman, a legislator and attorney who was instrumental in establishing the Florida state road system. It opened May 1, 1970. Prior to 1970 getting from Orange Park to Mandarin was a journey taking over an hour. Now it is 10 minutes.

Today it is suppose to rain, rain and rain. Basically a complete wash out for outside activities. So, what do you do on a rainy day in Orange Park? You go see a movie, shop, go to lunch/dinner with friends or stay at home. I may do all!!!

Yesterday I finished at my Mom's house so now all we have to do is pack it up in the RV and hit the road. We still have 10 days before we leave so we have plenty of time to get the RV packed for traveling.

That's all for now Folks!
