A Quiet Day At Stephen Foster State Park

Not much happened yesterday.  We did visit the local restaurant in the area for breakfast.  It is called "Fat Belly's" and it is a good old fashioned, down home, good cooking place.  The service is casual and friendly and the food it great.  It is a local favorite and has become our breakfast place when someone in our group is not making their famous french toast, omlettes or pancakes.  Carrie is with us this week and our bill for the three of us, including drinks, was $12 and we all walked out full.  If you are in White Springs, FL "Fat Belly's" is a place you have to stop and eat at.  It is well worth it!  After breakfast we went back to the campsites and relaxed the rest of the moring playing Rummikob.  After lunch we went on another hike.  We all watched the Champs Sports Bowl (Citrus Bowl) game Florida State University vs Norte Dame.  The Francisco's daughter marches in the FSU band so we also looked for her everytime the band was shown.  We saw her a good 7 to 8 times and FSU won.
I have posted a slideshow of the Festival of Lights at the Stephen Foster Culture Center State Park.  There are a few more lights to check out and since the weather is going to be warmer I will add to the picture show later.  Today there is not much planned.  It is nice to just be able to relax, enjoy good times with friends and just go with the flow!  Check back tomorrow for hiking or White Springs pictures!
