After spending eight weeks traveling around Florida it still feels good to come home to our favorite spot in Florida - Orange Park/Jacksonville. This has been our home for over twenty years and will continue to be our home base during our travels. Our daughter, Carrie, lives here and we have wonderful friends here that are always so welcoming when we come home. We are staying at NAS Jacksonville while we are here.
My son in law, Philip, stopped by shortly after we got here then last night I went to Choir and received a warm welcome home from my church family and friends. Carrie was playing pool last night so I stopped by the pool hall, after choir, to surprise her. She had already played her match so I only stayed a few minutes since she was the official scorekeeper for her team. Today we are spending the day with our friends Robin and Bob. Not sure what exactly we are doing but it won't make a difference since we will be together. We are here in the Jacksonville area for a couple of weeks then we head south again for another couple of weeks. I posted our "Hanging out in Florida" itinerary below. We are planning our next journey and it is going to be a big one. Stay tune for more details!
