Rory Is On The Road To Recovery

We spent the day at Wolfson Children's hospital yesterday and we once again had unexpected news.  First and foremost, Rory is doing well.  She was sleepy for the first part of the day and I am sure she was completely exhausted from the night before.  She was content to just lay around which is not her demeaner but understood.  As the day went on she became more alert and ready to play and by the end of the day she actually went and played in the Space themed playroom Wolfson has for her age.  Rory did get her drain taken out of her knee and since she was drinking plenty of fluids she no longer had to have a fluid drip.  Not being attached to an IV is huge for a two year old.  The unexpected news we had came from the infectious doctor who told us Rory would have to be in the hospital for at least 5 days for antibiotic treatment.  This was the first time we have met with this doctor.  The Ortho Docs say that Rory is doing well and would be out in a couple of days.  So, we are on a holding pattern as to how long Rory will be in.  Please continue to pray for Rory for a speedy recovery and for her Mom and Dad who are dealing with it all.  Okay Rory let's continue to get better!
