St Augustine, FL
On Sunday we went down to St Augustine. It was a nice sunny warm day and Rory was feeling pretty good so we decided it would be a good day to visit. St Augustine is one of our favorite places to go when we are in the Jacksonville area. It is the oldest city in the U.S. and there is so much to do there. We strolled along St George street and looked at several shops and had lunch at the Florida Cracker Cafe on St George Street; it was good. If you are looking for a casual place with good food like sandwiches, etc. this is the place to eat. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Try their turkey wrap, yum! Rory was so good while in St Augustine and we made sure she stayed cool. One small issue on St George Street is no one sells cookies. There are a ton of places to get ice cream, fudge, candy, etc but no one sold cookies. Rory wanted a cookie and we never found one. She did get her cookie but it was later in the day. Check back tomorrow for round two of St Augustine.
