Singing In The Choir

Since I am going to be here in the Jacksonville area for a couple of months and I can finally sing in my lower range again I thought I would check with the choir director, Dr. Mark Stallings, if I could sing in the choir while I was here.  He said of course and I returned to choir last night.  I was warmly greeted by the choir, many I have known for over 25 years, and I returned to singing.  My reading skills needed some work but as the evening proceeded it all came back to me.  My voice held up well so I was happy that about that.  It was good to be back and it felt good to sing again.
