My Mother’s Day Adventures

Mother’s Day started early, but everyday does with Rory, and Nate made Jenny and I a nice breakfast.  We exchanged gifts and then I headed to church.  After church we went to The Loop for a Mother’s Day lunch.  It was not crowded and we got in right away.  After lunch Nate took Jenny out for her special day and Rory and went back home where Rory took a nap.  After her nap Rory came to TLCs with me.  Carrie and Daniel met us at church and we played with Rory at the church playground.  Rory and I then went to McDonalds for some ice cream.  The manager was feeling generous and doubled my amount of ice cream for Mother’s Day.  Thanks Kevin the manager! Afterward the ice cream I took Rory over to Doctors Lake boat launch area.  We walked on the pier looking for fish and manatees but only saw some big dead fish.  Rory loved watching the boats and jet skis being taken out of the water and didn’t want to leave.  It was getting dark so we had to go.  It was a great Mother’s Day and very busy!
