Rory’s First Hair Cut

Rory had her first haircut yesterday and it was a great experience.  She was eager to get one because her friend Emme got one and said it was fun.  We went to Klips and Giggles child salon and it was a great place.  The stylist’s chairs were different vehicles like an air plane, a fire truck, a pink car, a race car and a train.  There was one regular chair for the big kids.  Each station has its own tv where a child can watch a dvd while getting their hair cut.  Rory picked the pink car and was treated to glitter nail polish on her fingernails.  Then the hair cut began.  The stylist Chrissy cut a lick of hair to commemorate Rory’s first haircut.  When she was done Rory had about 1” to 2” cut off.  She then had a braid put in her hair with two butterfly clips.  It was a great experience and Rory was so good she got some ice cream afterwards.  It was fun!
