What A Way To Start The Day

Today started out normal.  Rory woke up and we went into the kitchen to get her breakfast then we took it in my room to watch some tv.  All of a sudden Jenny comes into the room with the dogs and says stay here there is a snake in the house.  If you know me you know I HATE snakes and do not even like watching them on tv or seeing them in a book.  My immediate reaction was terror!!! Nate caught the snake and got it back out side and in a bucket so it could be identified.  If it was harmless it would live 👍🏻 and if it is venomous it would die👎🏻.   It was determined to be a brown snake 👍🏻.  I will be posting a picture of it which for me to have that picture on my blog is HUGE.  The picture makes the snake look big but in reality is was about 6 to 8 inches long but as skinny as a pencil.  It is still a snake and still very scary to me!  Nate and Rory took it down the road to a nearby field and released it.  However, I am now walking around the house on tiptoe looking at everything!  Yikes!
