We had another family day where we talked for awhile then my brother Ford, sister in law Mary and nephew Pat left to go to L.A. Ford and Mary are flying to Hawaii today for a 10 day vacation so they wanted to be in L.A. last night to catch the flight. It was nice being all together again and I am glad we had the chance to make my Mom's Thanksgiving a good one! After Ford, Mary and Pat left Craig, Pam, my Mom and I played an old family card game that my grandfather use to play called Lambsydivey. It is a 13 hand card game where the lowest score wins. I have not played this game since I was in High School but it was fun to play it again. I ended up winning the game but I am sure it was all pure luck. The games goes on for quite a while but it was fun and it lets you figure out a strategy while the games goes on. After the game we had Pizza for dinner then sat around and talked until Craig and Karyn and I left for home. It was a great Thanksgiving weekend and it was nice to be all together again. I know my Mom loved having all four of her kids together again!
Today I am going to help my sister put up her Christmas tree, I get to do the lights, and then help decorate the rest of the house. I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving weekend too!
