Happy Black Friday!

Yes, it is Black Friday, a day that use to mean long hours and hard work for me but now it means I can actually participate in the deals that are everywhere.  I have decided not to do any doorbusters or shop at all the weird hours of the night.  Instead I enjoyed my Thanksgiving with my family and friends well into Black Friday.  We did not end our festivities until after 1:00 am.  Did I miss out on any great deals?  Yes I did but I also enjoyed the time spent with my family.  I will probably go shopping sometime today but it will most likely be this afternoon or even tonight.  Working retail for over 25 years has swayed my feelings about Black Friday and I am okay with it.  I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, I sure did!  So, Happy Black Friday, enjoy the sales and the first shopping day of the Christmas season!
