A Cooking Day and Musical Night

I spent most of yesterday baking Christmas cookies with my sister and mom.  Now let's just say that it was not like it was when we were kids baking cookies with my mom it was more like the Three Stooges making Christmas cookies.  We had such a hard time rolling out the dough,  Had it worked out the way we thought it would then the experience would be good.  It was not bad, just sometimes it was chaotic and messy.  After we got the cookies done we went to clean up.  We were getting ready to go up to Dana Point, CA to have dinner with my brother and sister in law, Craig and Karyn, then go watch my brother in concert tonight.  It was so good to see my brother perform again especially live.  We were trying to figure out how long it had been since I had seen him perform; over 10 years and maybe  closer to 20.  He did a good job and I really enjoyed his performance. So, all in all, it was a good day!
