At our Girls weekend in Julian, CA we made several projects and many, many cards. The only thing that was required for the week end were two shoebox swaps per lady. A shoebox swap is an exchange of cards to be made. Each shoebox contains all the materials needed to make the card. Of course we are all over achievers so we each brought a couple of projects to make along with the shoebox swaps. Friday we spent time in Julian but Friday night was project night and we made some really cool ornaments and Christmas decorations. Saturday morning we worked on our own items we brought to work on and Saturday afternoon we did the shoebox swaps. After dinner on Saturday we did some more projects and finished up some more things that we brought. On Sunday we cleaned up our spaces, packed and got ready to leave. It was a very productive week end.
I spent most of the day yesterday addressing Christmas cards. The hardest part was picking a card I made and which friend or family member should get it. So, if you receive one, I hope you like it! I will be going to the Post Office today. Today is going to be clean up day for the RV. We have hung a couple of Christmas decorations up but I would like to get a small tree and maybe string some likes in and out of the RV. Check back and see how we ended up decorating.
