Just another day is all I can say about yesterday. I did not do anything special unless you call doing laundry, running to the grocery store, taking care of Jenny's dogs and cooking dinner special. Sometimes you just have to have a day like that. Makes for a boring blog entry. However, I did get the storm pictures posted. When you look at the pictures of the storm (which I think look pretty awesome) remember that we never got a drop of rain during these storms. As you can see in the pictures the mountains really get it and so does downtown Alamogordo. Talking with a local I found out that this is the raining season and that monsoons are what they normally encounter. So here I am, taking credit for bringing the rain and it ends up happening this time of year anyway. Way to burst my bubble.
Today, Tim and I are going to visit the New Mexico Museum of Space & International Space Hall of Fame. It is located in Alamogordo just north of the downtown area. Tonight, Jenny and I are going to go see Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella. The local community theater is putting on the production. Anyone who knew Jenny when she was younger may remember her singing "In My Own Little Corner" at School and Church. I have always loved this version of Cinderella so I am looking forward to tonight's show. We will be going with a few of Jenny's friends. I will do a review of the show in tomorrow's blog. Yea, right, now I am a theater critic, NOT! Check back and see!
