Yesterday was a chilly and raining day in southern California.  It has not rained here for quite a while and the local news, in LA, was all about the rain.  Coming from a state where rain is a daily occurrance in the summer;  it seems weird to listen to the instructions given on how to drive in the rain on the news.  Places that are 8,000 ft above sea level got snow.  I am waiting for the clouds to clear so I can  see if Mt. Baldy, 10,000 ft above sea level, has snow on it.  We did not do much of anything yesterday but stay in and out of the cold, rainy weather.  We actually had to put the heat on.   I did finish a big stamping project for my sister and Tim and I watched a couple of movies.  Today the sun is out and the skies are clearing. The rain has moved on and it is suppose to get warm again for the week end and all of next week.  This afternoon we will head south to  Carlsbad, I am spending the week end with my sister again due to another stamping event.  Next week we will become tourists again and will journey out to Big Bear, Hollywood, the LA area and some of the local attractions in the Riverside Co area.  Keep checking back!
