The Daytona 500 was finally run and I think this may be the first time it was run at night under the lights. It was quite a show. In the second lap was the first crash and took out the driver I was going for. I was rooting for Danica Patrick. She was successful in getting bumped and crash in all three races at the Daytona 500. Hang in there Danica! Just when the race was winding down and only had 40 laps left what happens? A race car hits a saftey truck and both go up in flames. It finally ended around 1:00 am this morning! Last night we had Carrie and Philip come over for dinner. They both have very busy schedules so we take what time we can get with them. We had a nice dinner. Jenny and Nathan have a home on the beach in Hawaii. They get to move in on Thursday but will have to still wait on their furniture and car to arrive. Being a minute from the beach may occupy their time while they wait for their things!
Today is a day to get things ready to leave. We head down south to Clermont tomorrow for a couple of weeks. We have enjoyed our time at home and have kept busy with friends and family!
