We Are STILL On The Mend

We started our day happy knowing the RV would be good to go as we drove to Sam's Club.  We dropped off the tires, shopped around Sam's Club and when we returned to see if the tires were done we were met with, "I can only find one tire.  The inventory shows we have five."  I don't think I need to tell you Tim's reaction.  I have worked in retail for over 20 years and now the importance of having your inventory correct.  It was because you did not want to have issues like this with your customer.  Tim decided he did not one tire and we got a refund and left in search of two more matching tires.  I do believe between Saturday and Sunday I have now visited every tire store (not the used tire shops) in Panama City, Calloway, Lynn Haven, etc.  The problem is  there are quite a few stores not open on Sundays.  So, we did find we could order the tires from the Walmart in Panama City Beach and so we did and they should be in be noon today.  After the disappointment, we decided to go to Pineapple Willy's.  It was good we did, it relaxed us and got us both in a better mood.  Pineapple Willy's was very busy but we were lucky enough to get a table at the end of the pier where we watched all the action that was going on the beach and in the water as we ate lunch.  Last night we took a long walk on the beach while we enjoyed the sunset and moon rise.  We saw some beautiful homes, a camouflage wedding ( the bridal gown was half camo half white, the bridesmaids wore camo dresses and the groom and groomsmen wore a camo vests made of camo and orange silk fabric) it was interesting!
The beach under the pier was once again packed with photographers taking family or friend portraits in the sunset.  White and Khaki were the colors worn.  The shark fishermen were out again as we watched a kayaker take the bait out to sea.  It was another active sunset and it was a good way to end a frustrating day.  A beautiful sunset, a nice moon rising and a long walk on the beach!
