So after a long week end of stamping what do I do on Sunday? Watch Football and I have to thank my Chicago Bears for being the one bright spot; they were the only one of my teams that won. Jaguars lost terribly, 49ers did me a favor and lost quickly (fast game) and the Chargers broke my heart at the end of the game when the Titans threw a Hail Mary for a touchdown to win the game. So for week three of NFL Football my teams were 1-3. My college teams did so much better. I could say I was 5 - 0 because two of my teams, Oregon and South Carolina had bi weeks. NAU, NIU and the Gators all won their games, Woo Hoo!
I watched the Emmy's last night with my sister, brother in law, my mom and Tim. Since it was a live show it was on at 5:00 pm on the west coast. It was a good show but I realized in watching it that I didn't know a lot of the nominated or winning shows because so many were from HBO, Cinemax or Showtime. Since we do not subscribe to the premium movie channels I guess we are missing out on a lot of good shows. Oh well, I guess I can catch them when the reruns come to cable TV. I was happy that Modern Family won for best comedy show and here is another interesting tidbit, the spokesperson for Modern Family accepting the Emmy graduated from my high school (Glenbrook South High School). All in all, it was a relaxing Sunday!
