We are home and it feels good. The drive was long but we left very early and so we got home by 5:00. Lisa and George gave us a warm welcome home and Lisa made dinner for us. Thanks Lisa and George! We drove 12 hours but the good thing is it was a totally uneventful drive. There were only two little hold ups. There were two trucks carry wide loads and on each truck there was a huge metal ring. The rings were so big that they hung over the shoulder and the left lane. Once we were past Knoxville we saw a semi truck had run off the road and jumped the guard rail and the whole truck landed on its side. I sure do hope the driver was wearing a seat belt.
Now that we are back, I still have lots of our travels to report and will continue this daily blog to share everything we saw. I will publish all the stats on our last two trips in a couple days. So please continue to follow this blog and also my other daily blog
