Day Two - Done!

The second day of Tour started early, sort of,  with everyone up and packed before breakfast which was served at 7:30.  This meant the Slush Puppies had to be up even earlier preparing breakfast and packing up.  The breakfast was delicious, scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels and oranges.  It is nice to have the church’s chef with us.  After breakfast we got everything out of the church ready and waiting for the bus.  With the church empty the Litterbugs could get busy cleaning up making the church look better than when we arrived.  The Toters were carrying out the coolers, etc to the truck crew, the Roadies.  The Pack Rats were eagerly awaiting the arrival of the bus so that they could get all the luggage and coolers loaded.  Hospitality was getting the thank you note ready to leave behind while Sound Techs and Stage Crew were enjoying their morning off.  Yes, on tour everyone has a specific job.  It was a bus day, a seven hour trip, and once we arrived at New Creation UMC in Chesapeake, VA we were welcomed to a baked chicken dinner followed by our performance.  This morning we are being treated to breakfast by their Tuesday morning Prayer group and then it is off to Philly!  Day Two is done!
