We are back at Horseshoe Lakes Thousand Trails in Clinton, IN and this time we got a nice spot on one of the lakes in the resort. It is not quite the view we had in Chicago but it is still a lake view. The RV resort is not as crowded as it was when we were here at the end of June and early July. I guess people came here to celebrate the 4th of July or the heat that was here ran people off. Yesterday was the first day in over 35 days that it was not 90 degrees or above. This morning it is a cool 64 degrees and it feels great! I watched the Olympics from early in the morning to late at night and saw as many different events as I could switching from NBC to MSNBC. I do not have the NBC Sports Channel in our DISH package otherwise I could of seen even more events. There were some great things going on yesterday and I have a whole new respect for table tennis and badminton. WOW! The men's Team Archery was great and the USA womans' Basketball and Volleyball going on along with the Beach Volleyball. The swimming, one of my favorite events, was entertaining. Michael Phelps got a reality check yesterday and so now it is a wait and see game as to how he is going to compete going forward. Ryan Lockne is ready and it shows. Swimming is going to good!
Day two of the Olympic competition has begun. I'm lovin' it!
