Leavenworth Thousand Trails

We are staying at the Leavenworth Thousand Trails RV Resort in Leavenworth, WA.  It sits at the eastern foothills of the Cascade Mountains.  There are 272 campsites, log cabins for rent and a lodge with four bedrooms that can be rented. The campground is open year round so in the summer there are lots of hiking trails or fishing in the small lake in the campground.  There is river rafting on the Wentachee river.  In the winter there is cross country skiing, snow mobiling or snow shoeing.
It is really beautiful here and seeing the Cascade mountains for the first time was also very cool.
The RV Resort is just a few miles from the town of Leavenworth which is built like a Bavarian village.  We drove through a portion of the town and we will be visiting it over the week end.  There are a lot of things to do in town.  When we checked into the resort we were warned that there are bears in the area and to stay at least 200 ft away from them.  I don't think that will be a problem!
