We took a trip into Terre Haute to get another set of tires on the RV. If you remember, on June 1st, as we were leaving Panama City when a tire on the RV had a blowout. We decided to change all four tires since we were traveling across the country and at times we will be in very remote areas. So we stayed an extra week in Panama City and got four new tires and they have been great. Two days ago Tim was reading one of his RV forums and a tire recall was mentioned. Sure enough, there was a safety recall on the tires we had just put on the RV. So, Tim did some calling around and found a tire place in Terre Haute that had the replacement tires for the recalled tires. We drove back down to Terre Haute yesterday and got another set of new tires for the RV. Let's hope this will be it for a while now. As we waited for the tires Tim dropped me off at Hobby Lobby and I got to spend a couple of hours in there. What a great place to get stuck at. I had so much fun looking through out the store and even picked up a few things to make some Christmas presents. I know, I said the word 'Christmas' and it is only early August. Crafters have to think ahead and I no longer wince when I think about Christmas. I have posted some pictures of the old tires and now the new tires.
The Western Ho! trip is going to altered a little bit when we leave Clinton. I was suppose to get together with a cousin but she will be out of town so we are changing our itinerary between Indiana and South Dakota. Check below for the changes.
I have been enjoying the Olympics so much and have loved all the swimming, gymnastics, volleyball, diving, rowing, water polo, archery, and the rest but Track and Field has now started and since I use to compete in that sport it is near and dear to me. I ran the hurdles in High School so guess which race is my favorite in Track and Field. I look forward to watching all the events.
GO USA!!!
