Tim and I headed to Sacramento to visit Tim's Grandmother, Evelyn. She is Tim's maternal grandmother and they have not seen each other in over 30 years. I never met her before yesterday and I wish I had; she is an amazing lady. She had seven children and Tim's mom, Mary, was her second oldest. Tim has told me some wonderful memories of his times growing up with his grandma and the two of them had a great time sharing stories. His Aunt Sharon was also there. We had actually visited his Aunt about 29 years ago when we lived in San Diego she lived in Oceanside. Aunt Sharon just moved to Sacramento this week. Tim's Grandmother is going to be 92 in November and she looks great for her age. She still lives on her own and is still driving. We had such a good time together and we promised that our next visit will be soon.
Today we are on the road again but it will be a short trip. We are going to Lotus, CA which is Southeast of Sacramento. While we are there we are going to head to Lake Tahoe and Carson City, NV. Westward Ho!
