Cinepolis

Cinepolis is a luxury movie theater in the San Diego area.  We went to the one in Carlsbad and it was incredible.  When you walk in the lobby there is a snack bar but you have to look twice before you realize what it is.  There is also a full service bar and a cafe if you want to eat before you go into the theater.  There is also a lounge area with couches and easy chairs to relax while waiting to into the movie.  There are two kinds of theaters to get tickets to. The any age viewing theater and an over 21 theater where alcohol can be served during the movie.  Once you are in the theater there is assigned seating where you get a nice leather recliner and a little serving table.  Each set of seats come with a wait staff to get you drinks and food.  You can still get traditional movie popcorn or you can elect to get caramel popcorn or spicy popcorn too.  The caramel popcorn was almost as good as my friend Debbie's homemade caramel popcorn...almost! 
Brian and Pam treated Tim and I to the movies and gave us the whole experience.  We had drinks, popcorn and lunch.  We went to see the movie "Skyfall" the new James Bond movie.  It was good but I think we enjoyed it a little more due to the fact that we were so comfortable in our seats.  It was a great experience and one that we will repeat again before we leave.  Thank you Pam and Brian for a great afternoon and an unforgettable experience!
