We spent most of the day getting the RV ready to go into storage while we are in Hawaii. This will be the first time in over two and a half years that we will not be in the RV. We have cleaned out the refrigerator and freezer, cleaned up the RV inside and out and packed the suitcase. I had to do some major rearranging of bags in order to meet the weight requirements for our flight. We are flying out of NAS North Island on Coronado Island, CA. We are catching a Military HOP to Hawaii (Pearl Harbor). Being retired military I am allowed to fly out and into the U.S. where Tim can fly anywhere. We are on the list to depart on Friday but that does not mean we will get on the flight. We are going very early in the morning on Friday to secure two seats. Please keep your fingers crossed. So, the RV is ready for storage, our bags are packed and we have everything we need for Shadow. Shadow is not going with us. He will be staying at my sister's house. He will love it there because he will be with her dog, Maddie, and he ALWAYS gets special treatment from my sister.
So, in one day, we hopefully will be saying Aloha!
