Happy New Year!!! Welcome 2013 where we will have more journeys to take. I hope everyone had a happy and safe New Year's Eve and that 2013 will be a good year for all! I said in yesterday's post that I would let you know some of our destinations for 2013. To start off, on Friday January 4th we are headed to Hawaii and the island of Oahu. My daughter Jenny and son in law Nathan are stationed at Hickum AFB and we will be visiting them for a couple of weeks. We will then return to California for a couple of weeks then start our journey home to Florida. We will be visiting several destinations along the way such as Cottonwood, AZ, Albuquerque, NM and Branson, MO. We should be back in Jacksonville mid March where we will stay for a few weeks then head to Panama City, FL for our annual May vacation with our great friends Robin, Bob, George and Lisa. Then we begin a new journey which we will be planning soon. So, there is more to see and do in 2013 and we are ready to get started!
Today we will be enjoying the Bowl games, we are particularly interested in the Orange Bowl this year since my college team, Northern Illinois University, is playing against Florida State University. GO HUSKIES! Have a Happy New Year, I hope you get to enjoy your day with family and friends!
