Today is the second part of Clermont, Fl. We visited the town and wait until you hear what we found. Check back tomorrow with our discoveries. It will be fun. Just a hint, in search for the Florida Citrus Tower we came across some really fun things!
We did visit Minneola, Florida. It is a small town just a few miles up the road from Clermont. It is part of Lake County. The population is 5400 (2004) and the median income is $46,000. The Minneola Tangelo was named after the city.
We are staying at Thousand Trails Campground. It is a membership campground. We have been paying our dues for years but have not been able to use the campgrounds. Now we finally can! It has over 800 campsites that are not even close to being filled now but come October this place will be packed. We like it because it is only 15 minutes from Disneyworld.
See you tomorrow for more Clermont fun!
Must be so nice to be retired and visit all these fun cities now, so happy for you both... have fun and enjoy and can't wait to check back tomorrow.
