Fishing Day Three - A Huge Success!

The pass was a bit rougher as we headed out to the Gulf of Mexico and the Gulf had a chop and waves were one to two feet.  It was still a great day to fish and fish we did!  We put our baits out and within 5 minutes of trolling I got a bite and caught a king fish.  About 10 minutes later Bob got one!  This was going to be a good day.  Then we had a lull for a little while and just when we thought maybe it was time to head in we started catching fish like we were pros!   We both brought in two more in so we made half of our limit.  We started trolling again and sure enough I caught another then Bob.  Bob got one more and we decided to head in and kept my line out.  Good thing we did because the last fish I got was the biggest.  It was estimated to be close to 40 lbs and put on quite a fight but we got it!  We reached our limit and had no other choice  but to go in.  It was a great feeling knowing we caught some nice Kings again.  When we got back to the campsite it took a team to get the fish out of the boat, Bob then filleted the fish and it took an assembly line to clean and bag the fish.  14 bags later and I would say there was fish for everyone.  It was a good day of fishing and there is still more to come!
Today we have to say Good bye to George and Lisa.  They came to Panama City for a week and we have all had a great time and glad we had this week to share in all the fun. Safe travels home and we will miss you.  Bob and Robin are here for one more week which means there is still a lot more fun to be had!  Keep checking back to see what other adventures we can find here in Panama City!
