A Uneventful Ride Until The End!

We packed up and left Middleburg, FL around 8:45 am taking in as much Rory time I could get before leaving.  We pretty much had an uneventful ride home until the last 40 miles just before we crossed into Tennessee.  On I-40 we had about 14 miles to go and that is the area of I-40 that has a lot of hairpin and S turns in the road.  Truckers must stay in the right lane and because of the turns and elevation go at a much slower speed.  The speed limit for cars is only 45 to 55 mph.  As we were entering one of the turns we see a guy on the shoulder jumping up and down waving a towel to get people to pull over into the left lane and when we made the turn we discovered why.  A semi truck was turned completely on its side.  It must of just happened because there was no back up and only a couple of cars pulled over to help.  I do not know what happened but Tim is speculating that the trucker was driving too fast to make the turns.  I do not know if there were any injuries as most the people who were near the truck were just standing there and not trying to help someone.  I hope the driver is okay.  That was our excitement on the way home!  A week from today we will be heading for Missouri!
