Pine Cone Hunting
It is all Pinterest's fault. I was looking at the site the other day and came across some really cool crafts that were done with pine cones. Now, it took me about 30 seconds to realize that I have an ample supply of pine cones since they are everywhere around TT. So, Tim, Shadow and I took a long walk around TT and collected pine cones. I got a lot of medium size and some small sized ones and I could be as picky as I wanted because there were so many to choose from. It was another beautiful day, about 75 degrees and sunny so it was a perfect day for a walk. Shadow got to play with a wolf; a domesticated wolf. As we were walking along all of a sudden a dog (at the time) came flying down a hill and she and Shadow began to play. At first I was a little frighten when I saw it was a wolf. The people who own it raised it from a pup. It was a sweet dog/wolf and Shadow had fun. We continued on and as we walked we started walking through a very wooded area and I looked up and realized just how big the trees are around here. It made me feel so small. We came across some more fall colors and then returned to the RV. I have a good start with my pine cone collection and today we are going to Yosemite National Park and I am hoping to find some big ones there. Check back on Monday and find out what we did today at Yosemite.
