Laguna Niguel, CA

Lagunal Niguel, CA is an affluent master planned community.  It is located on the coastal San Joaquin Hills and is surrounded by many towns.  Laguna Niguel's names  "Laguna" meaning lagoon in Spanish and "Niguel" is from the Juaneno Indian tribe that lived in the area several years ago. Laguna Niguel is located on what was once  the Rancho Niguel Indian Mexican Land Grant.  In 1865 a terrible drought hit the area and ran off most of the ranchers.  Only the hardy survived.  In 1959 the LagunaNiguel Corpration began and Laguna Niguel turned in to one of the best planned master plan community  The current population is 63,900 with a median income of $ 80,300 and a median age of 48.   Laguan Niguel is a nice town that is located in a beautiful area where the buildings are all white with red tiles on the roof.  It is a quiet community with speculator views of the ocean, mountains and canyons.
